- I've been an artist all my life and around tattoo artists for about half of it so naturally it was only a matter of time before I picked up a tattoo machine. I first started tattooing in 2003, but shortly thereafter put it on hold to start SoulSkool Records and open SoulSkool Studios. I picked up the tattoo machine again in 2010 with the strong guidance of my in-house shop partner Mural84 and since then have been hitting heavy in the skin art medium.

- Born in 1974, ironically the same year as the birth of hip hop on wax, this native Chicagoan from the Galaxy of the South Side and one of Englewood’s finest residents Bryant L. Jones has been creating art since he was a child. “My big brother and I would draw then cut out our own cartoon characters and act out battle scenes while our Moms was working 1 of 2 jobs.” Aerosol, Oils, Acrlyics, Watercolor, Pencils, Ink and just about anything this proud father of two can get his hands on is what he produces his art with. Published in various graffitti books and magazines as well as a few tattoo magazines, Bryant has been featured in the Chicago Sun Times as well as winning 1st place in the CTA mural competition along with his crew LEC. ( Liquid Elements Crew)
Since 1996 Tattooing and Piercing have been this artist’s choice of medium. “The uniqueness of each individual’s epidermis, combined with my God-given ability and, of course, the ideas they and I contribute, just simply looks fresh if not the freshest!“
